why does my Nikon P-90 battery die so fast?

i just bought this nikon p-90, so i charged it up until the light stopped flashing and use it. everything went well until not even 20 hours later the batter dies. i didn’t have it on the whole 20 hours obviously, is this normal for this battery? it is a lithium ion EN-EL5 3.7V 1100mAH
