Nikon dSLR camera lenses for D60 & D5000?
I’m getting either a Nikon D60 or D5000 camera for xmas. I’m not sure yet but I’d like to have family get me some lenses.
Do they both use the same lenses?
If so which would you recommend for a beginner that plans on taking portrait pictures, family functions, inside & outside and every day things. I don’t need crazy zoom or macro but would like the basics.
I’d like to get into photography so I want a dSLR not a point & shoot.
Yes, they use the same type of lenses (AF or AF-S).
If you’re looking for something versatile, I would suggest the Nikon 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 lens.
But if you’re just getting into photography and want something cheap that will still get the job done, I would recommend getting the kit lens (the camera + 18-55mm lens).
